1. Items that have no string to hang are often mounted in a picture frame and look really nice when a black material is behind the lace. Since these items are usually made with white or cream-colored string, the black or dark brown material is often the nicest.
2. Christmas items are hung from a christmas tree branch on the table in the living room or dining room table. These branches are sold in the markets during the christmas season in Slovakia. The branch can be put into a vase or mounted onto a wood base somehow.
3. Christmas items are hung from branches of the christmas tree like other ornaments.
4. Some items such as the one called "Decka" should be laid flat and placed behind glass in a display cabinet with maybe a small knick-knack placed on top (not too big).
Since these items cannot be washed, you must take precautions not to let them get dirty or dusty over time. This is why having them behind a glass frame or a glass cabinet is best. When christmas items are displayed, they are carefully packed away again after the season and these can be used for years and years.
