Comments: I am researching the family of my grandmother, Maria Emilia Dias Cardosa born in Vila Ruiva. Her mother died young and she was cared for by grandparents. She married Antonio Nunes Pereira there on April 2, 1919. Antonio Nunes Pereira was born on December 15, 1897, son of Joaquim Nunes Pereira. My grandmother was the daughter of Manuel Cardosa and Maria Augusta. She had a brother, Antonio Dias Cardosa (1912-1976) and a sister, Maria dos Anjos Izabel Dias Cardosa (1914-1994). I not only want to access data on ancestors of Maria Emilia and Antonio Nunes Pereira but I would like to make contact with relatives. I would like also to know about migration patterns to that region. From where did they originate?

Her father’s name was Arnaldo Moura 1895-abt 1970, mother’s name was Branca Correia 1897-1988 (died in USA). I know that my grandmother has a cousin named Manuel.
