Comments: My Grandfather Peter Alexander Cameron Mackenzie Count de Serra Largo married Anezia Augusta do Amaral daughter of Jose Maria do Amaral, Merchant of Para and and Lisbon in 1886. He was Managing Director of Singer Sewing Machine Company Brazil and lived at 169 Larangeiras Rio de Janeiro. I seek information on other descendants of Jose Maria do Amaral. Please reply in English.

Comments: My mother's family comes from the island of Marajó, in the state of Pará, from the city of Ganhoão, county of Chaves. All the (most of the) Britos in the state of Pará descend from a single man, Francisco de Brito, that arrived in the XIX century in the north of the state. I look for other people called Brito in Pará.
