Comments: The name Dos Anjos Correia was found on a work certificate issued
by the clerk in New Bedford, Mass as the mother of one Joseph Correia. She
signed with a mark (x) we know she came from Agua de Pau and the parish name
is Dos Anjos--any information would be apreciated--please e-mail.

Comments: My mother would be 96 years old so any aunt our uncles would be
nearly impossible she left Aqua de Pau 1918? to live with her godmother in
New Bedford. She had two sisters who were twins one died the other was named
Bernaldina her brothers Mauuel, and Antonio and she was Amelia. Maria Jose
Sucena Santos was her mother and her father was Antonio Santos. A first
cousin is said to live in the Fall River Massachusetts area. I wish to know
more of my mothers history, it is sad that the life of someone you loved is
so blank.

daughter of Manuel Ceatano de Oliviera and Rosa da Estramade de Oliviera. She
was born in approximately 1887.

Comments: Looking of information on family/relatives of Francisco de Medeiros
Narciso born 1866 in Agua du Pau Sao Miguel - married to (first wife)
Margarita Cabral and then to (second wife) Victorina Pacheco Tercado in Agua
du Pau Sao Miguel. Francisco had a son Manuel with first wife who died in the
early 1960's and three sons with Victorina; Tobias Mederios Narciso (oldest
son) currently resides in Ontario, Canada while Everett Narciso and Victor
Medeiros reside in Newberry Mass. We are looking for any ancestors (relatives)
of Francisco de Mederios Narciso who may be residing in the United States
other than the two brothers listed above.

Comments: Looking for anyone related to the Bizzarro family or Bizarro. My mom was Angelina
(Bizzarro) Davidson her mom was (if spelling is correct) Maria Jovita DeOliviera she married
Francisco Bizzarro he was born in 1886 on the island of Agua Pau<>he married Jovita they had
12-14 children, my aunts and uncles were: Francisco Bizzarro Jr, Michael Bizzarro, Jovita

Comments: My grandparents came to the United States in 1912 from Agua da Pau, Sao Miguel,
Azores. Their names were John and Jacintha (Jessie) Medeiros. My fathers name was John Freitas
Medeiros and he had sisters named Albertina Adeline Medeiros, Irene Medeiros, Elsie Medeiros,
and Leonora Medeiros. He also had a brother named Albert Medeiros. My family also had cousins
named Frates. Unfortuneatly, that is all I know of my relatives with a Sao Miguel connection.
I would be extremely interested in knowing more. According to my last surviving Aunt, my
grandparents had cousins that were living in Agua de Pau up until the early 1970’s. Any info
on researching my family history would be helpful.

Comments: Hi my maiden name is Aldina da Costa Galego. My parents are from Azores Portugal...San Miguel
and the villge that my mother is from is Rosario, Lagoa and my father is somewhere in Ponta Delgada ...
not to sure on that one. They immigrated to Canda in 1963 I believe. My father passed away five years
later with Luekima. I was 5 and dont really know much of my family on my dad's side, I went to portugal
in 83' and did meet some of the family. Iam really interested in finding cousins which I know I do have
in Toronto area. I cant locate them. If anyone can help me please email me, I would love to hear from

Comments: Cordeiro (possibly changed to Pinho) immigrated from Azores to Hawaii. I know for sure my great-grandmother was named Helen Pinho Cooper, born in Hawaii on March 1, 1908. Her daughter Elizabeth Cooper Stondall wrote this on a genealogy message board:
